Who we are

Ants at work is the brainchild and perpetual passion project of Antima Nahar (aka Ants) who has lived and breathed design for over 22 years. She has a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree from Mumbai’s JJ School of Art and a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Media Design and Typography from the London College of Communication, UK.

Before starting Ants at work, Antima worked with Lowe Worldwide (then Ammiratis Puris Lintas) in India and with reputed design companies in London – Interbrand, BBC, Designhouse Consultants. After building a portfolio of work for various multinational brands, Antima founded Ants at work in Mumbai in 2009. She eventually escaped city life and found inspiration in the tropical paradise of Goa in 2015, where the design studio is currently based.

At Ants at work we collaborate with the best design talent, consisting of like-minded creatives working remotely worldwide, to produce ideas and design-led solutions for large and small businesses across countries and continents. 

Since its inception, Ants at work has partnered with brands like Hinduja Healthcare Surgical, Rocky Mountain Institute, UniRay Medicals and B:blunt. With her knowledge of the Indian market and experience with International clients such as ABN AMRO Bank, British Telecom and Land Securities among others, Antima brings global perspective complemented by Indian sensitivity.
