A design identity and communication for a casual dining Italian restaurant that pushes the boundaries of the pre-conceived notions about Italy and Italian cuisine.
We evolved a language that reflected the warmth and feeling of an authentic Italian home – one that got into the skin of Italian culture as opposed to a superficial look at it. The name, Casa Mia or ‘My Home’ translated into the baseline ‘At home in Italy’.
Casa Mia’s design, like its cuisine, offers a fresh, authentic and undiluted experience of sunny Italy. The visual language is simple and graphic with fresh and happy contemporary colours. It keeps in mind the homely theme and café-style interior of the restaurant with its family photos, bookshelves and café tables. The communication aims to create a perception of Casa Mia as an authority on everything Italian, and at the same time presents a fresh look at Italian cuisine and culture.
